Launched in the second half of 2020, Vietnam Sustainable Shrimp Alliance (hereinafter referred to as “the Alliance”) is a socio-professional organization of producers, processors, importers, exporters and service providers in Vietnam’shrimp industry, voluntarily established for the purpose of gathering and uniting members, protecting the legitimate rights and interests of its members, supporting each other to effective operations, contributing to the socio-economic development of the country.

Vision: A dynamic and sustainable shrimp industry in Vietnam that ensures protection of the ecological environment, livelihood and development opportunities in accordance with international standards.

Mission: Helping Vietnam achieve the leading position in the world market for shrimp quality, ensuring the sustainability of the ecological environment and social responsibility through the sustainable development of the value chain, technology and services of the shrimp industry.

Principles, Objectives: The objectives of the Alliance is to develop Vietnam’s shrimp industry towards environmental sustainability and ensuring social responsibility in accordance with international standards, ensuring the livelihood and prosperity of components of the Vietnam’s shrimp value chain.
